AEW Full Gear 2024 was marked by a match with an American influencer for the Pre-Show.
It was Big Boom AJ making a return to wrestling after a 20 year absence and he was able to defeat QT Marshall. Unfortunately this victory comes with an injury.
Indeed, Big Boom AJ announced on his networks that he suffered a foot injury during the match. He believes the injury occurred during the Flying Clothesline, but he finished the fight despite the injury thanks to adrenaline.
Big Boom AJ will be out for six to eight weeks while his foot can heal. In the meantime, he will remain in contact with Tony Khan and AEW to arrange a return once he has completed his recovery.
