As part of its proactive policy in favor of culture, the first municipal budget, the Town Hall initiated in 2020 a major program to modernize this building which reflects the elegance of the Boulevard de la Croisette.

Tripled exhibition areas, fitted panoramic terrace or even modernized spacesresidents and visitors will be able to discover a transformed Malmaison, including exhibition spaces on three floors), a multimodal room for hosting cultural events, a specialized bookstore and a reception space on the top floor, facing the sublime panorama of the bay of Cannes.

For its reopening, the Town Hall plans to inaugurate the place Friday January 31, 2025 from 6 p.m.. On this occasion, the emblematic exhibition “Luxury, calm and pleasure” will be revealed. A selection of works by artists from the 19th to the 21st century who were inspired by the beauty of the landscapes of the South will be featured there.

A festive and colorful program will be reserved for the public during this inaugural evening. In addition, access to the art center will be free throughout the weekend of February 1 and 2, 2025.
