After an absence of four years, Gilles Leclercthis writing enthusiast from the Dieppe region (Seine-Maritime), returns with Dr. Martin de Beauvallon.

After significant research to establish the setting and the intrigue of this new opus, he offers the reader go back in timeuntil the beginning of the 19e century.
A new association created
And above all to take a seat on board La Cocardière, a prestigious three-masted ship, alongside Dr Martin de Beauvallon. He decided to head for the African coast from the port of Le Havre. Its objective: “To deepen your knowledge of traditional medicines and perfect your skills as a naturalist”, underlines the author. Pour edit this new novelValérie Lemaître-Leclerc, the wife of Gilles Leclerc, created the Val Éditions association. Indeed, the novelist had already embarked on this adventure by creating Esneval Édition around ten years ago. “I edited around fifteen authors, or around thirty books,” he remembers. But the health crisis happened and his publishing house had to be liquidated.
It is therefore a new page which is turning for Gilles Leclerc with this new romantic adventure.
The Breath of the Four Winds at Val Éditions at the price of €19.50. Signing sessions are scheduled for this Friday, November 29, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Belvédère gallery in Dieppe; Sunday 1is December all day at the Varengeville-sur-Mer Christmas market and Saturday December 7 from 10 a.m. at the Leclerc center in Martin-Église.
