Japan is not only the tea ceremony and the cherry trees at the foot of Mount Fuji, it is also, today, an original cinema. For the first time, the Tarascon cinema offers moviegoers the opportunity to discover contemporary Japanese cinema, by participating in the “Les Saisons Hanabi” festival.
Its concept has been the same since its creation 5 years ago: throughout France for 7 days, seven Japanese films that are still exclusive in France will be presented in preview. From Wednesday, November 27 until Tuesday, December 3, at 6:30 p.m. (except Sunday, December 1), the public will be able to discover seven gems in VOST, and at a very low price of €5.
The program : Wednesday 27 “My sunshine”, a dramatic comedy by Hiroshi Okuyama; Thursday “The Zen Garden”, a comedy by Naoko Ogigami; “Egoist,” a melodrama by Daishi Matsunaga; Saturday “Enloop,” a comedy by Junta Yamagushi; Sunday (at 9 p.m.) “The Go Player,” a historical film by Kazuya Shiraishi; Monday “Until Dawn”, a comedy by Shō Miyake. Tuesday will be a surprise, since the title of this closing film, tradition requires, is never revealed.
