Every year since 1961, the Society of Artisan Photographers of Quebec (SPAQ) presents two exhibitions, in May and November. For several years, this event has been held at the Laurier Québec shopping center. This fall, the 127^e SPAQ exhibition is held from today until 1^is December on the second floor, central mall, near Starbucks. In total, 163 photographs presented in seven categories demonstrate the technical and creative virtuosity of the SPAQ photographer members. During the six days of the exhibition, you will be invited to participate in the “People’s Choice” competition, which will give you the chance to win, in a draw, your favorite photo at the end of the event. The opening of the exhibition will take place tomorrow, at 5 p.m., when the SPAQ will take the opportunity to award the Grand Prix Hardy. Named in honor of the founder of the SPAQ, Marc Hardy, this award is awarded to the best photograph chosen by a jury of three professional photographers: Michèle Grenier, Jérémie LeBlond-Fontaine and Yvan Bédard. Designed and designed so that tenants and stakeholders in the social and community housing ecosystem can, in a fun way, learn and discuss their living environment, discover available resources and find out more about existing committees and organizations , the Dé-CLIC board game was recently launched at the microbrewery La porte d’à voir in Thetford Mines. Dé-CLIC was born from the CLIC project, which stands for Citizen tenants involved and concerted and which aims to support and stimulate the involvement of tenants in their living environment. The Chaudière-Appalaches region has nearly 5,000 social and community housing units on its territory. The Dé-CLIC game will be distributed, in the coming months, across the region and then throughout Quebec. Professional of the year

Bravo to Florence Brouillard (photo), President and CEO of BROUILLARD, who recently received the prestigious Professional of the Year award at the 16^e Format Libre awards evening, formerly known as the Media Lunches, which each year highlight the achievements of professionals, companies and business people who stand out for their creativity, their leadership and their contribution to the economic and professional development of the greater region of Quebec. In less than a year, Florence, who officially acquired the family business from her father Jean, demonstrated a sense of innovation and an extraordinary strategic vision. Under his leadership, the agency continued to collaborate with emblematic clients while consolidating its expertise in public image and strategic communication. The new owner of BROUILLARD, whom I have known since birth, has also expanded her team by welcoming four new talents.

Safer

The City of Lévis unveiled last week the sketches (photos) of the brand new development of the Côte des Bûches, in the Traverse sector. This project, which represents an investment of more than $4 million by the City and a contribution of $1 million granted by the Quebec National Capital Commission, will provide a safe passage for users between Saint-Laurent and Després streets.
