Magny-Cours. Miss Earth, a new challenge for Laurie Bezin. In February 2019, Laurie Bezin won the Mademoiselle Bourgogne competition (in Nevers), and in April, she participated in Mademoiselle France (in Calais). At the end of 2019, she became president of the Mademoiselle Bourgogne committee to organize the 2020 competition.

In the summer of that same year, she left for Lyon to pursue studies that would lead to a position as a surgical assistant in dermatology and aesthetic medicine, two years later. At the same time, she found time to do fashion shows and photo shoots for American designers, a magazine, French designers, the Fashion Tour.

Looking for patrons

In May 2024, she has the opportunity to be a candidate for Miss Earth and is selected by the selection jury. “Here we go for an adventure!” she says. Miss Earth, in addition to being a beauty pageant (one of the major contests with Miss Universe and Miss World), is a global movement dedicated to protecting the environment (1.4 million subscribers). The winner will be the ambassador of her region and her country internationally. The competition will take place in Vietnam, next December.

And Laurie must therefore find supporters who will support her by voting and patrons (sponsors) who will help her finance her project in return for her image.
