Charlene of Monaco: slit dress and plunging neckline, she doesn't skimp in front of the rugby players

Charlene of Monaco was in her element. Sports fan and former swimmer, the princess participated in a special evening this Sunday, November 24. Sans Albert de Monacoshe was present at the World Awards ceremony which rewards the best players in the world. Obviously, it was not in sportswear that she posed on the red carpet but in her bright clothes.

With a smile on her lips, Charlene of Monaco dazzled the photographers in an outfit entirely designed by Alexander McQueen. For this high mass of rugby, Jacques and Gabriella's mother opted for a long slit dress by the designer. In black grain de powder with a plunging V-neck and draped satin lapels, this outfit highlighted her plunging neckline. And not to show too much in this dress for 2,000 eurosCharlene of Monaco slipped in a lace and rhinestone bustier which added a rock'n'roll side to her outfit of the day.

The stylistic flawlessness of the princess

To perfect it, she skipped Alexander McQueen and put on a pair of Dior pumps. And the least we can say is that the princess shone brightly on the red carpet with her diamond earrings and her natural beauty! At this ceremony, she notably found her brother but also Antoine Dupont, elected best player in the world of rugby 7.

And if the presence of Charlene of Monaco might seem surprising, it is actually quite logical. Because just a few days ago, the wife of Albert II was elected President of the Monegasque Rugby Federation. With this role, she wishes “accompany and support the teams as well as the volunteers in the continuity of their work within the Federation and, as an active spokesperson, contribute to making Monegasque rugby shine beyond borders”.

Charlene is a true sports enthusiast

For her, it is the logical continuation of work started more than ten years ago. “Always passionate about sport, Princess Charlene is involved with younger generations and encourages the transmission of the values of sport that are dear to her, such as discipline, respect and inclusion”wrote the Palace. By creating his foundation in 2012she wanted to promote education through Sport, particularly through the 'Sport and Education' program.

In 2012, Charlene of Monaco inaugurated the Sainte-Dévote Tournament, an U12 Rugby tournament which welcomes children from all over the world to the Principality each year. In 2016, she launched the Rugby Exchange, which allows young players to discover other cultures through their discipline. It is also to the princess that we owe the Monegasque rugby sevens team. At this evening, she once again scored points (and spirits!)
