The misadventures of the young women clearly prove that the Misses are not immune to problems along the way and that the election is far from being won in advance. Besides, Maëva CouckeMiss France 2018, was present during this trip to teach them how to “walk like an aristocat” and she returned to a significant episode during the Miss Universe election: the biggest fear of a Miss, that of fall on stage.

In complete transparency, Maëva Coucke explained: “I'll show you my fall. It's the Misses' fear and we never talk about it. (…) Most importantly, this is how you're going to bounce back. The fact that I kept smiling, that I remained comfortable, pushed the whole audience to be with me. How you get up can change everything. I would never have been dauphin without falling“. That's it sixth runner-upa hell of a performance. Proof that anything is possible!
