A former New York resident of Jewish descent who lives in Israel is urging Jews to leave the United States, according to the New York Post.

Hillel Fuld, who moved to Israel at age 15, believes Israel is the safest place for Jews. Anti-Semitic crimes are skyrocketing in the United States. The man lost his brother who was stabbed to death by a Palestinian in the West Bank.

“Jews, you must get out [des États-Unis] while there is still time to do so,” he said.

The 45-year-old man living between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem described the recent wave of attacks against Jews in Uncle Sam’s country as “heartbreaking”.

“No one needs to lecture me on terrorism, I know that,” he said. “You are no longer safe on the streets of New York or Los Angeles.”

Anti-Semitic hate crimes increased by 45% in 2024, according to New York City Police Department statistics obtained by the Big Apple newspaper.

In June, a 24-year-old anti-Israel protester allegedly stormed a New York City subway car, demanding that “Zionists” raise their hands. Anas Saleha was arrested on June 26 after a manhunt lasting several weeks.

“We are literally in Europe in the 1930s,” lamented Hillel Fuld, regarding the incident in the metro. “It’s scary that this could happen in New York.”
