An emblematic figure of the French music scene for almost a decade. Slimane revealed himself to the general public by participating in the 5th season of The Voice on TF1. The young apprentice singer finally launched his musical career after winning the program in 2016. With one success after another, the musician gained popularity with the public. Which also allowed him to represent France during Eurovision 2024.
However, the musician's public image has been shattered in recent weeks. In fact, Slimane is currently the subject of two complaints. These were filed by technicians who worked on his last tour. The first claims that the former winner of The Voice was guilty of sexual harassment against him. The second assures for his part that he was the victim of sexual assault by the singer.

Mediapart revealed two new compromising testimonies for Slimane. Indeed, two men claim to have also been victims of sexual harassment. The first would have notably “received photos of a sexual nature from the artist, in 2019 and 2021. Without ever having consented to these sendings“.
“He started sending me pictures of himself and his penis, and insulting me because I wasn't sending anything in return. I told him to stop, telling him he was going to regret it“, assured the second. “He was sending me offers at 3 a.m., saying 'I'm excited.' And he sent me a video of himself masturbating.”he also added.
The singer is currently the subject of a preliminary investigation
“He told me what happened at the party, which I wasn't at, then showed me messages from Slimane. They were all clearly sexual, there was only sex, it was obvious that Slimane was trying to sexualize everything.”also specified one of this man's friends. Also cited by Mediapart.
As a reminder, the first technician who filed a complaint for sexual harassment against the musician also claimed that Slimane would have sent him messages and videos of a sexual or even pornographic nature. A preliminary investigation has since been opened by the public prosecutor of Saint-Etienne against the singer.
Slimane remains innocent of the charges against him until the closure of this case.
