The party had started well, Friday June 28, 2024, on the new lands of the L’Armor à Sons festival, in Trélivan (Côtes-d’Armor), but now two cancellations in quick succession come to tarnish it a little: the rapper Zola and the Quebec singer Charlotte Cardin have canceled their appearance for this evening, Saturday June 29.

The organizers bounce back

Big disappointment for the organizers, l’association Bowidel, who announce, by means of a press release, the cancellation of two current stars of French song.

Rapper Zola, victim of a bad fall a few days ago, suffered a torn cruciate ligament, “making him unable to move and perform on stage”, explained the organizers, who are nevertheless proposing other artists this evening to replace Zola.

It is Doums & Co (Deen Burbigo, Nemir, S Pri Noir, Esso Luxueux, 2ZER, Mekra, Framal, EDGE, RATU$…) who have already replaced the rapper yesterday, Friday June 28, at the Europavox festival in Clermont-Ferrand.

“These artists promise to deliver an unforgettable show and maintain the energy and excitement you expect from our festival,” say the organizers.

Unfortunately, a few hours after this first cancellation, a second one came to darken the day, that of Charlotte Cardin, as for her, victim… with a loss of voice !

It is the artist Rim K, a heavyweight of French rap, who already came to Dinan in 2018, who will take over.

Here is an extract from his universe, which spans the ages:

Here again, the organizers warn: “This artist will guarantee you a memorable show, while maintaining the energy and excitement that characterize our festival.”

Hoping that the rain of cancellations will stop there…

Return to a festive show

While waiting for this evening, a little look back at yesterday’s Bobital Déraille evening where artists from the 80s, 90s and 2000s were able to take the audience from L’Armor to Sons on board.

In particular the “star” of the evening, Patrick Sebastian, equal to itself. If his very festive side took over, he probably did not seduce the young women in the audience with sometimes very inappropriate “jokes” on the fairer sex.

But his well-known rogue side did not stop there. The President of the Republic was targeted, in particular, as well as his wife.

A good point, however, between his acidic speeches which punctuated the end of each song in his plethora of songs, the reference to the only Breton team to join the Top 14 rugby (the national championship), Valvesto whom he gave a standing ovation.

Just like, moreover, a few dozen minutes before him, the group of Toulouse residents, Mouss and Hakim, formerly of Zebda, who declared themselves “delighted” to be able to meet the Bretons during future competitions.
