In the episode ofHere it all begins from Monday November 25, 2024, Lionel (Lucien Belvès) overhears a violent argument between Zoé (Maïa Bringue) and Inès (Romy Durand). The big reproach to the little one for not having told him about his falling grades and the note written in his notebook. Lionel decides to take matters into his own hands by helping his sister with her homework, but he doesn't understand anything about her math exercises. The tone rises between him and his little sister… Disappointed, Lionel goes to the home and talks about his family problems to Tom (Tom Darmon) and Billie (Margaux Aguilar). The latter advises him totry positive education with Inès. Yelling at him won't get him anywhere.
At the local café, Coline (Talina Boyaci) and Bérénice (Bérénice Tannenberg) admit to Carla (Aaricia Lemaire) thatthey tried to get Angèle (Ginnie Watson) hired as a market gardener at the Institute. The news does not please Carla at all, who criticizes them for not having thought of Rose (Vanessa Demouy). Angèle's return to his life could be very difficult for him… Coline apologizes to her. She only thought about the possible loss of the farm and did not think about the consequences…
Antoine invites Angèle to go out
At Double A, Antoine (Frédéric Diefenthal) explains to Rose that he is having a lot of trouble finding a market gardener. And to think that he had found the rare pearl, but that she refused to work for the Institute! Rose understands that Antoine has a weakness for the farmer and advises him to call her back… At the end of the day, Antoine plucks up his courage and sends an SMS to Angèle. The conversation is pleasant, and both of them arrange to meet the following Wednesday. No luck for Angèle, Coline sees Antoine’s text message…
In the marshes, Milan (Gabriel Réhsé) confides to Vic (Lou Ladegaillerie) and Enzo (Azize Diabaté) that Anaïs's (Julie Sassoust) medical examinations are not good. According to doctors, she waited too long to have surgery and the lesions are now irreversible. She will not regain her hearing abilities, but will be able to have prostheses fitted… Anaïs leaves her room for the first time this weekend. Enzo (Azize Diabaté) has reassuring words for her, but the young woman hears nothing. She bursts into tears in his arms.
Anaïs' career is seriously compromised by her deafness
In the management office, Teyssier (Benjamin Baroche) calls all the guests at the Friday tasting to apologize to them. He claims that the Institute's cold room has broken down and promises to reschedule Anaïs' tasting as soon as possible. Antoine and Clotilde (Elsa Lunghini) disapprove. Not only could the tasting never take place, but nothing says that Anaïs will ever return to the kitchen. Teyssier would be better off finding a replacement at Double A rather than making empty promises to his contacts. The director is categorical: he does not need to replace Anaïs because she will not leave.
Later, Teyssier confides in Constance (Sabine Perraud). He blames himself terribly for having put pressure on Anaïs and not having seen that she was not in her normal state. Because of him, she may never be able to work in a restaurant again. And to think that Anaïs supported him when he himself lost his taste due to his sclerosis… For her part, Anaïs goes to her appointment with the hearing aid specialist. The prosthesis allows her to hear again, but the sounds she perceives are processed synthetically. She doesn't recognize Milan's voice (Gabriel Réhsé), which upsets her. She realizes that her life will never be the same again.
In the afternoon, Teyssier goes to see Anaïs at the marshes. He promises her that deafness doesn't change anything for him. He intends to organize a new event and take her back to Double A. Anaïs is grateful, but she has difficulty hiding her fatigue. Milan explains to Teyssier that her new equipment picks up all the sounds, which requires her to constantly concentrate on the voices. In short, Anaïs will have a hard time working in the kitchen again, where there is too much noise. At the end of the day, Anaïs goes into the roommate's kitchen, where Carla and Vic are preparing dinner. She is immediately disturbed by the noise and collapses next to Milan. She thinks her cooking career is over.
