Moroccan artist Douzi opened the first part of this exceptional concert by performing his song Ana Maghribi. Lebanese icon Najwa Karam reconnected with her audience with her song Ma Bistaghrib

Moroccan artist Douzi and Lebanese diva Najwa Karam lit up the Nahda stage, bringing together a large audience who came to enjoy a diversity of songs and immerse themselves in Moroccan and Lebanese dance rhythms, as part of the 19th edition of the Mawazine Festival – Rythmes du Monde.

Moroccan artist Douzi opened the first part of this exceptional concert by performing his song I am Moroccan, received with enthusiasm, continuing with a medley of his most emblematic pieces, accompanied by an audience that fully immersed itself in the rhythms and lyrics, thus creating a perfectly harmonious artistic atmosphere.

The young artist, icon of Rai and Moroccan pop music, performed a set of iconic songs that have marked his artistic career since his early beginnings, such as Mariam, Amar, Hesdou and La Ghirou, BamBara, El Mouj, Ya lli Nassini, Chouf Chouf, as well as his recent hit Al Basha which has racked up over 14 million views on YouTube.

Douzi ended his show in style by performing Laayoune Ainyawhich commemorates the event of the Green March and remains engraved in the memory of successive generations.

During the second part of the concert, the Lebanese artist Najwa Karam reconnected with her audience with her song Ma Bistaghrib, which she wrote and performed in homage to the Kingdom of Morocco, expressing her love for Moroccans, King and people.

She then followed up with a bouquet of emblematic songs that marked her career, illuminating the Arab artistic scene and establishing her as “the sun of Arabic song”.

Najwa Karam electrified the audience who chanted the lyrics of her songs such as Ament Qalbi, Haida Haki, Law, Khallini Shoufak, Bil Rouh Bil Dam, Malaoun Abou Al Ishq, in addition to performing pieces of popular Lebanese folklore (Dabke) accompanied by traditional instrumentalists.
