The weather conditions condemned the possibility of running this Thursday, November 21. After Graignes and Chantilly, it is the turn of Vincennes to be unable to continue its meeting after the third race of the day. Olivier de Seyssel, vice-president of the SETF, delivered his analysis: “We explained to the drivers that it was difficult to maintain the track. Our tractors can no longer handle it due to the snow and clinker. Two tractors are also planted on the track. The professionals explained to us that they had practically no visibility due to the icing of the snow on their glasses. So we made the decision to stop racing”. As the afternoon progressed, the snow continued to gain weight, which made the track very greasy and impassable for the safety of the horses and professionals. “We are studying the possibility of accommodating the professionals this evening in Grosbois in order to avoid them having to go back and forth,” adds Olivier de Seyssel. Concerning the new programming of the five remaining races, according to our information, it is possible that some races will be scheduled from Friday and others at the beginning of next week. As a reminder, the last meeting in Vincennes canceled due to weather conditions was December 8, 2023.
