It was a stunning comeback for Dance with the stars this year. After a blank season in 2023, the show returned to TF1 last February. And while everything had started well, the dance competition was overshadowed by a huge falling out between Inès Reg and Natasha St-Pier. A hot topic that captivated the media and fans of the program. On the other hand, the main people concerned quickly became annoyed at having to talk about it. However, while Dance with the stars has been over for a while and the affair seems to be behind her, Inès Reg returned to it with the media Liik TV. And for the first time, the comedian admits having participated in fueling the controversy.
“I think I screwed up. I think that if I had never talked about it, it would have slipped. I talked about it because I was starting to receive a lot of death threats and the like, because it had started to contain crazy stuff.“, she confided. And added with hindsight: “From the moment I talk about it, I make it a subject. While as long as I didn’t talk about it and it was only in the media, as long as I didn’t take into account this group of people who insulted me, I think it could have slipped. This is my mistake“.
Inès Reg admits to having “participated in the bad buzz”

It all started on January 31st between Natasha St-Pier and Inès Reg. That’s the evening when their altercation broke out, due to the music being played too loudly in the studio of the Canadian singer and her dancer Anthony Colette. Inès Reg came to complain and Natasha St-Pier then started insulting her by saying “little slut“, but with irony since she thought they were filming a comedy sequence there. The scene is filmed but later, violent exchanges occur. The channel is not informed until several days after the events and, following this, Natasha St-Pier agrees to slip away from rehearsals for three days, during which she will file a complaint against Inès Reg. Anthony Colette too.
And then the affair became public. Each one took turns speaking out on social media to defend themselves. The candidates finally tried to make people believe in a reconciliation with a video, but the tension was still palpable over the weeks. So much so that the comedian didn’t even congratulate Natasha St-Pier for her victory in VALLEY…
