Thursday November 21 and Friday November 22 at 9 p.m., Angonia invites you to discover the world of Cridacompany with Pronomade(s) in Haute-Garonne, in their latest creation: “Azul”.

On a white tray where a pair of flamenco shoes, a pole dance pole and some confetti await, anything is possible! “Azul” looks like a spooky painting for four colorful characters. Here they soaked up the words that author Eric Da Silva wrote especially for them. But it is without a word and completely that these four build a world of their own, upside down. There is an atmosphere of strange reverie in the air with electro sounds. Dance, juggling, Chinese pole, singing, acrobatics are the ingredients of this deliciously absurd, offbeat and sprinkled with blue piece. It’s difficult to describe precisely what awaits you but one thing is certain, the dark humor that reigns in Cridacompany’s creations is always seductive!

This Franco-Catalan circus company was created in in 2006 following the meeting at the Lido of Jur Domingo and Julien Vittecoq. From Sweden to Mexico via the African continent, they offer strange and impactful shows, where virtuosity rubs shoulders with the invention of a new language between circus and dance, song and performance. They work on prevention, obstacle and distortion, bringing out situations and characters imbued with disconcerting humor. In photography or on stage, they play with the body and its possibilities. In a stripped-down style, they have fun taking an original look at situations, giving free rein to emotions, from the funniest to the most disturbing. This new creation reconnects with the family spirit of the Cridacompany, it plays with the accidents of life, the little quirks of each person, the lyrical flights and the roller coasters: everything that makes life spicy!

Thursday November 21 and Friday November 22 at 9 p.m. at the Martres-Tolosane gymnasium. All audiences from 8 years old. Duration 55 minutes. Free. Reservations and information: [email protected]
