The association uses all channels to share its musical favorites, all styles combined (hip-hop, rock, song, electro, etc.). “Our driving force is the discovery of new musical talents and we are very attentive to what the local scene is doing. Initially, the Sac à son is a story of friends and enthusiasts”, specifies Lëa, active member of the Nîmes cultural association.
Whether with its social networks, its radio show on RAJE (broadcast every Wednesday at 7 p.m. on 102.5 FM), its webzine enriched with interviews, various columns, playlists, or even with the organization of concerts, all the reasons are good for music to resonate and be shared with as many people as possible. “It all started in 2014 with a simple Facebook group around music then we launched our own website in 2018 in a self-taught way. Five years ago, we created the association and the radio show. Today we have a loyal community that follows us everywhere in France.”
The Sac à Son association has the chance to organize a new concert, this time in the prestigious Paloma club in Nîmes. Their favorite room. After the lively folk of The Wooden Wolf at the Spot, the poignant rap song of Lémofil at l’Instant T, the team wanted to offer a set that grooves with Sax Machine and Charly Cut.
“Concerts are an opportunity for us to invite artists that we love and who are rare in the area. Sax Machine is a band that I have been following since the beginning, I can’t wait to welcome them to Nîmes », rejoices Jérôme.
