International Solidarity Festival – Lille (59)
The International Solidarity Festival returns to Lille from November 20 to 24, 2024 around the theme “ When cultures move the world! »
Numerous shows, concerts, workshops, screenings and debates, for young and old, are available to inform you and make you want to take action!
More than thirty events are offered over these 5 days, including the opening:
- A radio set broadcast live on community radio stations in the metropolis on Wednesday November 20 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Sugar Hallaround experiences of international mobility, with the testimonies of young people on mobility, as well as those of the winning associations of international solidarity grants which have carried out international solidarity projects.
- The show “Living is a Victory” on Wednesday November 20 at 8:30 p.m. at Maison Folie Wazemmes featuring the stories of young people in migration situations, students from the conservatory and music schools of Lille around paths of exile proposed by La Cimade.
But also:
- Five culinary workshops offering taste discoveries for the mouth and the mind.
- Two major balls of solidarity with Palestine on Friday November 22 from 8 p.m. at Gare Saint Sauveur and Ukraine SATURDAY November 23 from 7:30 p.m. at the Fives village hall.
- Debate screenings at the Universe and the Palais des Beaux-Arts.
The Festival will close on Sunday November 24 from 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Halle gourmande de Chaud Bouillon through an event focused on cultural discovery and civic engagement.
