Hellfest: what is the weather forecast for the festival and its four days of concerts?

Let’s go ! Hellfest officially opens its doors in Clisson (Loire-Atlantique) this Thursday for four days of metal madness like every year. On the program, around a hundred groups until Sunday and some explosive headliners like Machine Head, Metallica, Foo Fighters, The Prodigy, Shaka Ponk, The Offspring, Suicidal Tendencies. More than 200,000 people are expected on a giant site worthy of an amusement park for hardcore rock fans. As festival-goers flock, everyone also scans the sky, hoping that it won’t fall on their heads.

Poorly served by mild weather, some musical events have had to deal with rain this season, or even with slush, like We Love Green in the Bois de Vincennes a few weeks ago, or the Papillons de nuit in Normandy, even forced to cancel their 2024 edition.

Wetter Saturday

So, what will the weather be like at Hellfest? It should start off pretty well this Thursday with a sunny day despite a few clouds and fairly high temperatures: 28 degrees in the afternoon and 33 felt according to Météo France, then 25 in the evening.

On Friday, the sun will be even more present, without cloud in the afternoon with again 25 degrees at the Clisson site. On the other hand, it will get a little worse in the evening with some scattered rain. And this will unfortunately continue on Saturday with stormy showers in the afternoon then real thunderstorms in the evening and falling temperatures, between 18 and 20 degrees.

After this third hectic day, Hellfest should end on Sunday under a slightly calmer sky with a day between sun and clouds, a few showers in the evening and a mercury around 20 degrees.
