Wat, the soul rock trio in concert on June 29

Furious guitar rides, on powerful bass drum rhythms, Wat offers warm and enjoyable soul rock music, on libertarian texts sung in English. A street and bar group in its beginnings, the trio has become electrified over the years and has created its own universe on the stages of halls and festivals in the south of France in a very enjoyable funk rock style. The concerts continued with the opening acts of Zazie, FFF, Babylon Circus and Soul Orchestra, to name but a few. Without limits of musical genre, with a much more rock approach and without ever abandoning Wat’s groove, their latest album “Everything to lose” expresses both the melancholy of humans in the face of their disastrous destiny and their intense desire to live without hindrance. In terms of sound, this translates into powerful rhythms on the drums, which put into orbit the lyrical flights like shooting stars of the guitar, in harmony with the bass and the captivating, bewitching, sensitive and rebellious voice of Winny. Watt will be on stage at the Fest’In Marcat festival on Saturday June 29, at 9 p.m. To be found in preview on www.facebook.com/watbandwat and www.youtube.com/c/bandWAT
