Prayssac. Pastels in celebration at the Santamaria space

After 2022 and 2023, the pastellists are back in 2024 at the Santamaria cultural space. There will be six pastellists Pénélope Milner, Alain Voinot, Hélène Gaben, Yves Serny, Lysiane Lagauzère and Françoise Escribe, the regional member of the group who has always been from Prayssac. The six painters will exhibit their paintings from June 28 to July 7, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. (free entry). The opening will take place this Friday, June 28 from 5:30 p.m.

In this group of six pastellists, all have talent and three of this group will offer a course on Saturday June 29, “Les Paysages”, with Alain Voinot, a painter recognized in all the salons of France. On July 2, “Color and light” with Pénélope Milner, world-famous master pastellist. A few years ago, she won first prize at Giverny, which only brought together pastellists from the United States and England. Both are pastellist artists at the Society of Pastellists of France; Hélène Gaben on July 5, introduction to dry pastel, is a recognized artist who followed the teaching of Pénélope Milner, this is her 3rd participation in Santamaria.

Demonstrations will take place on Saturday June 29 and Sunday June 30 from 3 p.m. In 2022 and 2023, the exhibitions of the pastellists, which were six each time, were very successful. It is a safe bet that this year their exhibition will exceed the previous two, especially with the presence in the group of Pénélope Milner. Another exhibition with at least sixty works presented and not to be missed.
