During the final, Clotaire and Jorick faced each other in the most star-studded palace in Europe, the George V in Paris. They had to create an exceptional gastronomic menu to delight 100 Red Cross volunteers, as well as chefs Philippe Etchebest, Paul Pairet, Hélène Darroze, Dominique Crenn, and Glenn Viel.

For this event, the last two candidates have imagined a menu, starter, main course and dessert, which, according to them, can convince the guests and allow them to win this final test! For 10 hours, they cooked tirelessly, accompanied by their former adversaries in the kitchens of this Parisian palace.

By playing it safe by offering a fairly simple menu based on scallops, veal and French toast, Jorick was not unanimous among the five chefs. The leader of Pierre Gagnaire’s brigade, Clotaire, gained a head start with 34 points against 16 for Jorick.

With 56.54% of the votes against 43.46%, it was ultimately the chef of Stéphanie Le Quellec’s brigade, Jorick, who was named the big winner of season 15 of Top Chef. At the age of 30, the cook was given a check for 56,540 euros.

Until 2013, the winners of Top Chef won the sum of 100,000 euros. Now, jurors influence the amount of the check. Indeed, the winner of the culinary competition no longer systematically wins the 100,000 euros, because to have them, you must obtain 100% of the votes of the jurors. By obtaining 56.54%, the big winner therefore received a check for his victory, i.e. 56,540 euros.
