Will a star of French song settle in Échevannes, a village of 300 inhabitants near Is-sur-Tille, ne Côte-d’Or? This is what the legal announcement, published on November 13 on the website of The Burgundy Gazette to set up a real estate company (SCI) for the Fossé farm, named after this fortified house located away from the village. It is indicated that the manager of this SCI is Florent Pagny, domiciled in Yvelines.
Listed as a Historic Monument
The singer from Saône-et-Loire, one of the French’s favorite artists, could therefore settle down in Côte-d’Or, where he has made several appearances recently. Just this Thursday evening, he was seen in the aisles of the Zénith de Dijon, during the Calogero concert. At the beginning of May, he was the sponsor of the Prestige Auto show in Beaune, and in October 2023, he visited the Château de Savigny-lès-Beaune. Contacted by The Public Good neither the owner of the Fossé farm, Jean-Marc Perrin, nor the mayor of the town, Michel Boirin, confirm this sale at this stage. But this could be made official in the coming weeks.
The Fossé farm could thus write a new page in its rich history. Listed as a Historic Monument, this fortified house is surrounded by a moat. To access the group of buildings, you must therefore go through a drawbridge.
The site, which had fallen into ruins, has undergone major work since the 1980s thanks to Monique and Edmond Kruszynski, then Catherine and Jean-Marc Perrin who bought the premises in 2021. The site includes two gîtes and also welcomes weddings.
