The Miss France adventure really began on Friday for the 30 regional representatives: they reached Paris before flying to the Ivory Coast to prepare for the big evening. This is the first time in the history of the competition that a Miss France trip has been made to Africa.
“I am happy that the 30 candidates from all regions of France will be able to live this authentic and unique experience in this warm and welcoming land. An incredible memory for each of them!” rejoiced Frédéric Gilbert, CEO of the Miss France company during a press conference. They will be coached by two ex-Miss France, Diane Leyre (2022) and Maëva Coucke (2018).
On Friday, the candidates had fittings, interviews and of course, an official shoot: this year they posed in an elegant red velvet suit. An outfit that will delight Assia Roosz-Tomenti, 25 years old, Miss Lorraine, originally from Villerupt, elected last October at the Amnéville Zoo.
This year, the theme of the election evening will be “the big Miss ball”, the candidates will try their hand at tango, twist, country or even disco, you will have to work!
