On June 21, the evening of the Fête de la Musique, Emmanuel Macron’s wife indulged in a few dance steps in a video which has now accumulated some 3 million views on X.

Since the Fête de la Musique was held on Friday June 21, a video by Brigitte Macron has been delighting social networks. Indeed, while the French were dancing that evening in all the streets of the country, the first lady was also entertaining in the courtyard of the Élysée. The latter had in fact organized a big party with, on the program, several concerts including those of the Canadian-Ukrainian pianist Anastasia Rizikov, the duo Ofenbach and Agoria and even… Gilbert Montagné. After which, a disc jockey was commissioned to entertain the last guests present on the dancefloor. And among the most courageous was the wife of President Emmanuel Macron, as evidenced by a video that went viral on X, accumulating some 3 million views in just two days.

It must be said that the sequence is surprising. In the middle of somewhat dulled guests in the Parisian night, the first lady wears large sunglasses and sways feverishly to electronic music. “Great atmosphere,” Internet users then commented.

Tense political context

Brigitte Macron took advantage of a moment of relaxation in a particularly tense political context for several weeks. On June 9, following the results of the European elections with the National Rally leading the vote, Emmanuel Macron announced his choice to dissolve the National Assembly, thus provoking new legislative elections, which will take place on June 30 and next July 7.
