In an interview with LCN, Florence Lamoureux and Marianne Bessette, both in their twenties, recounted how they were still under the spell of the show offered by Taylor Swift the day before.

“I think that today, even waking up a few hours later after the end of the show, we are still on cloud nine,” mentioned Marianne Bessette.

The two women said they were particularly touched by the atmosphere that reigned at the Rogers Centre.

“It seems like until you’re inside the stadium you don’t realize [le niveau] energy from all the other fans inside who are singing along with you, who have their bracelets of light vibrating along with you too. I think you don’t realize that until you’re at the show there,” explains Florence Lamoureux.

“Me yesterday, I didn’t believe it before she came on stage. Then when there was the countdown that appeared with the clock on the board in front, everyone looked at each other. I took Marianne by the arm, I had so many chills,” she adds.

“We went through a range of emotions yesterday. I really didn’t expect that, honestly,” adds Marianne Bessette.

And the crowd wasn’t just made up of young women like them, the two Swifties confirm.

“There were people who were 35 years old, there were mothers, fathers, there were us who are in our twenties, but there were also young children. That’s what’s crazy, it brings people of all ages together so much,” says Florence Lamoureux.
