The videographer Michou, followed by more than fifteen million people on various social networks and streaming platforms such as YouTube, Instagram and Twitch, spoke on Friday about the cyberharassment suffered by his friend Elsa Bois since the middle of week.
It all started on Tuesday when, in the middle of the evening, a user of Dancing with the Stars.” Michou asks his girlfriend what she is doing on her phone, and the latter simply replies “nothing”. The video has been viewed more than 40 million times in just under three days.
Since then, Elsa Bois has been the target of numerous hate messages on social networks. Excerpts from old videos of Michou in the company of the young woman, taken out of context, are published en masse on X and TikTok and accuse the professional dancer of deception.
Faced with this wave of hatred, Michou decided to speak out on his Instagram account Friday afternoon. “I'm not here to complain, that's the risk, we decided to appear publicly on the networks,” begins the 23-year-old young man in a “story” filmed in front of the camera.
“But it goes way too far, and it breaks my balls from the moment it affects someone around me, someone close to me,” concedes Michou. “Guys, please stop going crazy with shitty music videos,” he then asks.
The videographer concludes his brief message by ensuring that his relationship with Elsa Bois is going well. “We've been together for three years, and we've always had rumors (about our couple), and we are still here today. Everything is going well, we are very happy,” assures Michou.
