Director Christophe Barratier is looking for young actors for his next film which will be shot in Yonne. The filmmaker who had great success with “Les choristes” or “La Guerre des Boutons” will shoot a adaptation of “children of the resistance”, a comic strip Belgian in 8 volumes written by Vincent Dugomier and Benoît Ers, the action of which takes place in France occupied by the German army in 1944.

Beginning actors accepted

The production rlooking for several profiles to play the main roles : 4 boys between 12 and 14 years old, a young blonde girl aged 12/13 and a boy aged 16/17 Jules. “We will study all applications even beginners”, assures casting director Sylvie Brocheré in a press release. “At the same time, we will be looking for male and female extras between the ages of 7 and 18.”

Filming in October
