Free performances to celebrate the music festival, who could say better? The Moroccan Philharmonic Orchestra (OPM) is organizing concerts entitled “Music Festival: Inside” on June 20, 21 and 22, 2024 in three cities: Rabat, Casablanca and Agadir. After Rabat, music lovers in Casablanca will be treated to eight scores this Friday, led by conductor Olivier Holt.

Commemorated on June 21 each year, the Fête de la Musique is an opportunity for everyone not only to celebrate the fourth art, but also to witness its creative process among the musicians of the orchestra, as an “insider”. The latter is in fact the concept that the OPM brought to life for this edition’s concert series. He also made access to the stands free, offering the public an opportunity to learn about the essentials of classical music.

Several symphonies and dances are played by various composers such as Beethoven, Rossini, Tchaikovsky, Brams and even Saint-Saëns. Featuring different melodies, each score allows you to experience a movement of classical music in itself. At the same time, this event helps to introduce hidden talents to the world of music, by putting them in a real situation.

The celebration of this cultural festival in the previous edition was under the theme “film music”. The creations of composer John Williams were played there, featuring music from well-known films including Harry Potter, Star Wars and Superman.
