It’s D-day at Chapelle-sur-Erdre (-Atlantique). This Wednesday, November 13, 2024at 1:30 p.m., the Big Screen cinema open its doors.

The six cinemas were initially scheduled to open on Wednesday October 23, 2024, but the company was forced to postpone the inauguration.

Tickets at 5 euros for two weeks

The company Grand Écran, in charge of the project, obtained the building permit on December 21, 2022, after changing its plans due to protests from environmental associations.

“The cinema was designed to be at the cutting edge of comfort and technology in particular to reinforce the feeling of immersion of the spectators”, would have indicated Sacha Friedmann, director of the company Grand Écran, at Nantes news in January 2024.

As a reminder, the new complex will notably be composed of six rooms, including a premium room with electrically reclining leather armchairs and footrests.

To celebrate the opening, tickets will be 5 euros for all sessions for two weeksi.e. from November 13 to Tuesday November 26, 2024.
