You played the leading role in Imogene, a television series adapted from the work of Charles Exbrayat (broadcast between 1989 and 1996), in which the chouchen flows in the village of “Plouguirec”. We remember, moreover, this cult scene from “Galettes de Pont-Aven” (1975) where, lurking in a Bigouden costume, you invite Jean-Pierre Marielle to come “wash your Jesus, bihan” (small, in Breton ). The Breton that you are is not afraid to give in to the cliché?

It never occurred to me. By accepting the role of Imogene for which Anémone was initially approached, I saw that I could spend a few pleasant weeks in the farmhouse, in Plougourvest (29), surrounded by friends. We filmed in Locquénolé (29), Roscoff (29) and in the Monts d’Arrée. It remains a great memory, the team loved the area and received a wonderful welcome from the residents. Same in Pont-Aven (29).

Okay, but you knew that the Bretons hardly drink chouchen…

So what? In the past, they didn’t produce beer, wine or whiskey and now they do! Chouchen, it sounds Breton, it fits well into a dialogue about . I don’t see anything wrong with that…

Crêpes, kouign-amann, boots and yellow oilskins. Don’t all these clichés about Brittany annoy you?

Why talk about clichés? These attributes are assets and show that in Brittany, we are intelligent. We like good things and we know how to protect ourselves from the wind. Compared to other regions that are difficult to identify, I find it rather flattering.
