This June 17, 2024, the streaming platform Max enters the big leagues with the broadcast of its tête de gondola series: House of the Dragon. After years on OCS, the universe of Game Of Thrones imagined by fantasy author GRR Martin, changes supplier. Subscribers can now return to visit Westeros for a few euros. Count on €5.99/month for the Basic offer with advertisements, €9.99/month for the Standard offer or €13.99/month for the Premium offer and its 4K episodes.
HBO production obliges, the broadcast of this second season will remain weekly. Out of the question for American producers to deliver an entire season at once and “binge-watch” these precious episodes in one weekend. You have to make the pleasure last.
First bad news: season 2 will only have 8 episodes and not 10 as for season 1. For this launch of season 2, only episode 1 was broadcast. It’s quite long, 59 minutes, enough to satisfy fans in need. The following episodes will be broadcast according to this schedule:
– Season 2, episode 2: June 24, 2024
– Season 2, episode 3: July 1, 2024
– Season 2, episode 4: July 8, 2024
– Season 2, episode 5: July 15, 2024
– Season 2, episode 6: July 22, 2024
– Season 2, episode 7: July 29, 2024
– Season 2, episode 8: August 5, 2024
Second bad news: you could get spoiled when you wake up on Mondays… unless you you get up at dawn. Broadcast across the Atlantic, these episodes will be available in France from 3 a.m. The most dedicated fans will therefore have to wake up very early to discover the episodes simultaneously with the United States.
RTL was able to preview the first four episodes of this season 2. We can only reveal to you the duration of these episodes : 69 minutes for episode 2, 66 minutes for episode 3 and 56 minutes for episode 4.
