Youth Book Festival “Leaving as a book” 2024

The Saint-Jean-de-Luz media library, head of the Médiathèques de la Rhune network, is participating in the new edition of the national festival “Partir en Livre”, from June 19 to July 20.

This year, the Partir en Livre festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary and is taking advantage of the organization of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games to bring books and sport into dialogue around the theme “sport and games”.
“Read, move!” » will therefore be the key word of this anniversary edition with a program rich in surprises, imagined by all the media libraries which make up the Rhune media library network: Arbonne, Ascain, Ciboure, Guéthary, Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle, Sare.
The books will leave their shelves, for nearly three weeks, to meet young audiences, in the heart of the city, to share the pleasure of reading and sport.
Thus, workshops, games, shows, meetings and challenges of all kinds will bring walks and stories to life in the media libraries, at the foot of the pediments, in the neighborhoods and even in the bay.

This festival is free and is aimed at all children and young people, from 0 to 18 years old, as well as all those who accompany them.
