“The Technician” will be presented to the public on Friday November 15, Saturday November 16 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday November 17 at 2:30 p.m. at the Maison de la Ruralité in Bioul.
This comedy explores the reunion of Séverine, director of a publishing house, and Jean-Pierre, her ex-husband, now unemployed and in great difficulty.
The humor of the play lies in the condition imposed by Séverine: to obtain her help, Jean-Pierre must remain incognito as a simple technician, a situation which promises unexpected twists and turns.
To celebrate its tenth anniversary, the “La parenthese” troupe has chosen to offer two plays this season.
“Le Technician” will be performed in November, while “Le Squat” by JM Chevret is scheduled for spring 2025.
The troupe, originating from the town of Anhée, is made up of enthusiasts from different local entities.
Monique Saelens explains:
At the beginning, it was complicated to find a place for our rehearsals, but the town of Bioul finally allowed us to set up at the Maison de la Ruralité. This is where we found our audience and our creative space.
The troupe hopes that the public will come and discover this touching and humorous comedy during the performances in Bioul.
The last one of the year is planned at the Dinant Cultural Center on December 7.
