Last Friday, the talk-show revealed his guests of the week: Christine Beaulieu and Véronique Cloutier for the film The Christmas Cyclone; Former diplomat Louise Blais and journalist Alain Saulnier look back on Donald Trump’s electoral victory; Patrice L’Ecuyer; Claude Paquin, acquitted after 41 years of 2 murders he did not commit, and his lawyer Julie Harinen; Mona from Grenoble, for her stand-up show Powder in the Eyes; Journalist Simon Coutu and influencers Julien Bournival and Joël McGuirk for the documentary Alphas.
And it is the invitation extended to these last two guests which made Internet users react, who deplore that the two men who have a masculinist discourse – subject of the documentary – have a place at the table at prime time, particularly in this week after the American election.

In addition, many pointed out that no one was invited to counterbalance the two men’s speech.
Sexology professional and content creator Anne-Marie Ménard therefore launched a petition on Saturday afternoon so that Guy A.Lepage and his team change the table. His request collected thousands of signatures in a few hours.
In the comments on the Instagram page of Everyone is talking about itmany of them said they were outraged and very worried by the choice of the show.
At the beginning of the afternoon, the popular Sunday evening meeting made a change to its guests. One of the masculinists was disinvited.
«UPDATE: Tonight to discuss the documentary Alphasthe professor of political science and specialist in questions of feminism and masculinity, Francis Dupuis-Déri replaces Joël McGuirk, co-host of the Lucid podcast. Journalist @simoncoutu and entrepreneur and influencer Julien Bournival will also be present.”
On the Instagram account of Lucid Podcast, Sunday afternoon, Joël McGuirk reacted strongly to the fact that he was removed from the show. He wanted to warn Anne-Marie Ménard that in a few years, “when Quebec would no longer be dominated by wokes», people “were going to remember her as a Marxist.”
Remember that the documentary Alphas, from Télé-Québec, provoked strong reactions on social networks, with many accusing the broadcaster and the journalist of giving visibility to a dangerous movement.
Everyone is talking about it is broadcast on Sundays, at 8 p.m. on Ici Télé.
