Rapper Gazo announced this Sunday that Bakary Samaké will compete in a fight on the same program as his concert on April 18, 2025 at Paris-La Défense Arena. During the victory of the young French super-welterweight over the Chilean Julio Alamos, last Thursday at the Zénith in Paris, the rap star accompanied him from the locker room to the ring while performing his latest hit, “100K”.

Professional since 2021, winner of his 16 fights (including 8 before the limit), ranked 28th by the WBC world federation, Samaké (20 years old, 70 kg, 1.83m) has made friends with the world of rappers, many among the spectators of his last fights.

A fight in front of 40,000 people

During the first part of the Gazo concert (opening Wednesday), a ring will be installed on the central stage. The Samaké fight will have a record number of spectators, since more than 40,000 people are expected for the rap star.

Trained by his father, Samaké will compete in another fight in the fall, before entering the ring at Paris-La Défense Arena against an opponent who has not yet been chosen. No fight having ever been organized during a concert, this will be a world first.
