Magalie Tostain, programming manager at the Chesnaie club, looks forward to the last concert of the season on the Boissier stage with relish. The Grenoblois group, LMZG, will perform on Friday June 28, 2024, at 8:30 p.m.
A shared desire
Magalie Tostain had already spotted this group “which offered a show with a very well-established scenography, designed for festivals”. The technical system around a concert by the group is important, the Chailloise manager feared that the Boissier stage would not offer the technical conditions necessary for the production of the group. The request from a Chénéan brought this desire to see the group back into fashion. Magalie Tostain specifies: “I contacted Romain, the singer, who told me that the group could adapt if the artistic desire was present. » The sound and light technicians of the training confirmed the technical feasibility of the concert. The discussions demonstrated the group’s desire to come and perform at Le Boissier.
Electro swing
The band, born in 2012, has already produced five albums and gained international notoriety with tours that have taken them from England to the Czech Republic. LMZG is also on the bill at major festivals. The group performed last year at the Guinguette de Blois, under the name Lamuzgueule. The combination of swing samples from the 20s with, saxophone, trumpet, synths produces electrohouse music full of energy that carries the audience along.
