The Riv’K restaurant, now located within the Bonjour Bichat food court, offers generous Israeli-inspired sandwiches made from French toast, sweet or savory versions!
Now installed in the Bonjour Bichat food court after years spent on the Montmartre hill, the Riv’K restaurant offers, for this new cutting, Israeli cuisine, street food version. In the kitchen, the chef Rebecca Rohmerwho passed through the kitchens of Christian Constant and Cyril Lignac, still imagines recipes that draw on his own roots and memories.
Before discovering the essential French toast from Riv’K which has made the Maison’s reputation with sweet tooths for many years, stop by the salty box ! Riv’K now offers à la carte 4 recipes for French toast sandwicheslike the fricassee French toast version (€13.20), very generously garnished with spicy shakchouka, tuna belly, a soft-boiled egg, olives, candied Beldi lemons and harissa to spice it all up. A sandwich full of flavor.
Also to taste, the smoked beef (16€) with smoked beef brisket, cucumber salad and gribiche mayonnaise; the veggie (€11.50), with grilled eggplant, tahini, hummus, coleslaw, cucumber and zhoug; and the salmon (€13.20) with avocado, beldi lemon labné, smoked salmon and soft-boiled egg.
Obviously, we told you about it a little above, impossible to leave home Riv’K without tasting the famous chef’s French toastwhich are available here in version frutti (€11.95) with caramelized butter and seasonal fruit compote; version black (€11.95) topped with homemade black sesame spread; version pistachios (€11.95) with orange blossom, pistachio cream and orange zest; and version praline (€11.95) decorated with praline, halva and sesame spread.
All in generosityRiv’K still remains one of the very good addresses in Paris. If the previous restaurant was the fiefdom of a certain Jean-Pierre Jeunetthe director of Fabulous Destiny of Amélie Poulain, we have no doubt that this Riv’K 2.0 with street-food accents will be able to collect more than one!
