YouTuber Inoxtag, whose real name is Inès Benazzouz, was the victim of a burglary on Wednesday November 6. Nearly 10,000 euros of computer equipment was allegedly stolen.

The videographer followed by 8.69 million people on YouTube, Inoxtag saw one of his properties being burglarized on Wednesday November 6. He was the victim of a burglary at his home in (), according to information from Europe 1. The theft was discovered by his tenant in the evening. The events took place a few hours earlier. The burglars entered by forcing open a window with a crowbar. According to investigators’ first estimates, the damage is around 10,000 euros, mainly involving computer equipment. The burglarized house belongs to Inoxtag, but he does not live there and rents it to a third party, said the prosecutor’s office. The investigation was entrusted to the Conflans-Sainte-Honorine police station.

Inoxtag, real name Inès Benazzouz, was already the victim of a burglary six months ago. Facts which took place during his ascent of Everest, the documentary Kaizen of which has been viewed more than 37 million times on YouTube since it was posted online on September 14. A large collection of sneakers and watches were stolen.

“Ensure my safety and that of my loved ones”

On the social network X, the Youtuber wanted to reassure his community after receiving numerous messages on the subject. “Friends, everything is fine with me. […] I will take the necessary precautions to ensure that this does not happen again. I didn’t think it would come to this, but I have to put my house under surveillance from today to ensure my safety and that of my loved ones” he explains. The young man had his house built in Yvelines . On YouTube, he gave a guided tour in one of his videos.
