Until until November 29, mosaics are exhibited at the premises of the Pleyades association.

The fruit of the work of a group of people accompanied by Isabelle Dubois, social organizer who took over this workshop ten years ago. The eclectic creations range from Johnny’s portrait to Arabic calligraphy to a tray with geometric patterns. The creations were made with enamels from Briare (in the ) known for their quality and ease of use.

The speaker describes her approach as a mixture of art therapy and artistic creation. “There is a lot of respect and kindness,” she says, proud to see the great achievements of the participants. Each project often begins with a monochrome theme to simplify color choice and encourage personal expression. This activity allows everyone to discover new creative abilities and gain self-confidence.

Workshops take place on Wednesday and Thursday mornings. As Kamela Bahri, registered since 2019, points out, “I am thinking of something else and I am proud of the work achieved thanks to Isabelle”. Initially sent by Travail to work on a job search and access to rights module, she discovered this decorative art.

Participants, like Philippe Henry, who has been coming regularly since 2016, demonstrate the importance of this space. The mosaic workshop has thus become a place for them to share, “almost like in a family”.
