Ivorian star Roseline Layo refused “work” from a fan at her recent concert in the United States. After the Casino de Paris, the author of the songs “Joli boy” and “Môgô Fariman” headed to the United States.

During a moving concert on Saturday June 8, 2024, at the First Corinthian Baptist Church in Harlem (New York), she did not want to accept the work of one of her fans on stage.

And for good reason, this admirer is a disabled person in a wheelchair. The artist did not consider it appropriate to take the latter’s money. However, she made her fan understand to leave the money on her crippled foot.

The artist then thanked his admirer for her gesture and especially for the trip made to his concert. Roseline Layo also improvised words of support for him.

What is work?

The job involves throwing banknotes at a person. This practice is common and is generally done on artists in full performance, on brides and grooms, and also on people celebrating their birthday.

Furthermore, the artist expressed his gratitude to all those who participated in the success of his first concert in the United States.

“I thank God for all his promises which are slowly being fulfilled in my life. I am grateful to the public who made the trip, who despite the delay remained mobilized until the end, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Grateful to the organizing structure and the organizing committee.

Grateful to the elected officials of New York and the USA in general for this strength.

Grateful to all the African communities present.

Grateful to the artists, media, influencers, for all the unwavering support received since the event was announced.

Grateful to my production house Light Event and all my staff. Thank you all and see you soon for other challenges”, she wrote on her Facebook page this Sunday June 9, 2024.
