Street art like you’ve never seen it! You have until June 26 to dive into the world of Urban Prestige 2the second edition of the high-profile exhibition at the Hamon gallery in Le Havre (Seine-Maritime). World-famous artists and local figures, everyone comes together for a unique exhibition. These are listed and unmissable works that can be admired.
An unexpected collaboration
It was a private collector who contacted the Hamon gallery, its heart gallery. “At first, when I was contacted by email by this man, I thought it was spam. It seemed impossible that he could own such works in such numbers., explains Fiona Hamon Lemetayer, gallery manager. He insisted, so we agreed to a meeting. It was the start of a beautiful friendship. Today, we are collaborating, but we are only at the beginning. We have secret projects to come !“
He is a collector who solicits a lot of street art artists. He exhibits in Paris, but, a native of the Pays de Caux, he is attached to our Le Havre gallery where he came with his father.
The exhibition Urban Prestige 2, it is a major and rare project. “We have a selection worthy of great galleries, like in Paris! », smiles Fiona.
Jace and Theutis, the darlings of Le Havre
The people of Le Havre are very attached to it. Jace And Theutis are also represented in this exhibition. Their paintings have their place among the international headliners. “ Jace already has an immense notoriety and Theutis is going to present her works during heritage days in Paris, it’s a promising turning point for her career,” confides the gallery owner.
World-famous artists!
You’ve probably already heard about it, the biggest stars of street art and graffiti are represented in this exhibition. From the hardcore graffiti of the American Futura 2000 to the committed street art of Banksy, the famous Englishman with a secret identity, through the emblematic mosaics ofInvade or the multicolored canvases of JononeIt is a treasure of all kinds which is available to the general public.
And even sculptures!
More surprisingly, they are also some sculptures of Cyklop, Kaws and also Bansky that it is possible to observe. These less imposing objects are just as breathtaking.
