The Meydene Theater is preparing to make Marrakech vibrate throughout the month of November with a dazzling program, where the depth of musical traditions, the explosive energy of comedy and the daring creativity of theater combine. Evenings that promise to transport the public between emotion, laughter and wonder, in a unique celebration of art in all its forms.
Thus, on November 5, the public will be transported by the passion of Flamenco with “World Flamenco Congress” Morocco 2024, co-organized by the Cervantes Institute, INAEM and the Spanish Embassy in Rabat. It will highlight the splendor of this vibrant art as part of a program to internationalize Spanish performing arts. On November 14, the comedy “Darling, I invited my Ex!” produced by Tendansia agency and directed by Patrick Hernandez will shake up the laughter with its hilarious plot and its biting lines, revealing the vagaries of the couple and the surprises of life.
Then, on November 16, “Za’er wahed Za’er mshakal”, a show by comedian Zouhir Zair, icon of the Hay Hassani neighborhood, will captivate the audience by recounting his journey with finesse, humor and emotion in a show at both nostalgic and incisive.
On November 17, the public will be enchanted by “La Soirée des Merveilles”, a majestic tribute to the great composer Mohamed Abdel Wahab. Under the baton of maestro Hicham Talamdi, the voices of Abdallah Bayati, Ahmed Al Yaakoubi and Sabah Zaidani will perform masterpieces such as Modnak, Aghadan Alqak, Al Nahr Al Khalid and Kol Da Kan Leh.
