The musical festivities will be presented under the direction of Antoine Gratton. Among the guest artists, we find Marie-Annick Lépine, Patrice Michaud, Paul Daraîche, Les Louanges, Ariane Roy, Waahli, Beatrice Deer, Matiu, Laurence Nerbonne, Mitsou, and Galant, tu perds ton temps.

The big show will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday June 23, with the rock group Zébulon.

And as for the songs, the musicians will perform “revisited popular hits” for this 190e National Day edition.

Fourteen other artists are expected in the lineup, including a dance troupe. In addition, the spokesperson for the event, Benoît McGinnis, will deliver a “patriotic” speech.

“People of Quebec and the surrounding area, let us take advantage of these unique moments to fraternize and to underline our pride in being Quebecers,” expressed the minister responsible for the National Capital, Jonatan Julien, in a press release.

After the party on the plains, the population is invited to the family event Take a bite of the party, on June 24, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Place George-V. Flags will be distributed free of charge to display during a protocol ceremony where several personalities will speak, around 10:30 a.m.

A tribute to the Fleurdelysé will also be recited by the poet Erika Soucy.

Then, a lively picnic will begin around 11 a.m., where the Aucoin family, the Trio Chant d’Elles and the magician Jean Deshaies will be expected. Food trucks will be on site, as well as kiosks from local producers.
