The one who started on as coco girls, in Coco Boya show produced by Stéphane Collaro, in the 80s, participated in the inauguration, Friday 1is November 2024, from the Saint-Martin Fair in (Val-d’Oise).

“I know the world of fairgrounds well and I regularly attend fair launches. It is an honor to be chosen as godmother of the queen of this edition,” confided Sophie Favierbefore following the inauguration of the 854e autumn fair edition.

Tradition

The former TV star wandered around the fair before taking part in the unmissable grilled herring tasting.

The former host was accompanied by her partner Bruno Proostfairground manager of attractions for children, notably at the leisure island of -Pontoise.

Through its presence, it contributes to “bringing to life the tradition of a centuries-old fair”, as Stéphanie Von Euw, mayor (Lr) of Pontoise, underlined.

Sophie Favier made a career on the sets of shows Heaven my Tuesday! et Hello, it’s us! with host Christophe Dechavanne then Sacred Evening with Patrick Sébastien, Without a doubt, with Julien Courbet, Chow much does it cost? with Jean-Pierre Pernaut.

She also participates in Peoplepresented by Flavie Flament and Arthur, then hosts the show Unbelievable but truebefore presenting EuroMillions from 2004 to 2011.

She made her last TV appearances with Laurent Ruquier, in the Big heads.

90 stands

At the Saint-Martin fair, she is the godmother of Faustine Lentz-Normand, 17, elected Queen of the Fairgrounds 2024.

The high school student from Méru (Oise) was chosen to represent the fairground world at the event with 90 stands and rides installed on Avenue François-Mitterrand, 1.3 km long.

The event attracts some 200,000 visitors each year.

This is the third funfair in Île-de- after the Foire du Trône in - and the Fête des Loges in Saint-Germain-en-Laye ().

Wednesday November 6, from 3 p.m.: Vice-Versa 2 show & operation One tour purchased = one tour free. Sunday November 10, from 3 p.m.: meeting with Lilo and Stitch from the Disney universe. They will wander the aisles and meet young visitors. Wednesday November 13, from 3 p.m.: big Disney parade & operation One ride purchased = One ride free. As every year, a tasting area is set up on the Chaussée Jules-César, with grilled herring to be consumed on wooden trestles, accompanied by the traditional ginglet, wine from the Pontoise wine brotherhood.
