Fans of the group One Direction have been in mourning for several days. In fact, Liam Payne died at the age of 31 on Wednesday October 16, 2024. That day, the musician fell from the balcony of his hotel room in Bueno Aires, which was located on the third floor of the establishment. A partial autopsy was performed on the artist’s corpse to determine the causes of his death.
The results of the toxicological tests are now known. And they provide new insight into the circumstances of Liam Payne’s tragic death. Apparently, the singer had several substances in his system when he fell to his death, sources told ABC News. These substances included in particular “pink cocaine“.
Liam Payne: multiple drugs were found in his system
It is actually a recreational drug that is usually a mixture of several drugs. Including methamphetamine, ketamine, MDMA and others. Traces of cocaine, benzodiazepines and crack cocaine were also found in Liam Payne’s body. An improvised aluminum pipe for ingesting drugs was also found in his hotel room.
For now, Liam Payne’s body will remain in Argentina until the autopsy is completed. For the record, hotel managers had called the authorities shortly before the singer’s death. The singer’s body had a total of 25 injuries after his fatal fall

A preliminary autopsy report from the Argentine prosecutor’s office concluded that Liam Payne died of “multiple trauma“. Et “internal and external bleeding“. No less than 25 injuries were reported on the musician’s body after his fall. The report further indicated that the injuries to the singer’s head were sufficient to cause death. And that the cause of death was related to height of his fall.
