This Monday, TF1 unveils “Le Daron”, its new legal and family series led by Didier Bourdon.

The former Unknown plays a brilliant lawyer forced to collaborate with a young colleague who gives him a hard time.

But he doesn’t yet know to what extent this young woman will disrupt his personal life…

He is a colorful character. This Monday, October 21, Didier Bourdon slips into the dress of Maître Daron, a whimsical lawyer and a bit of a schemer who will see his family life shattered. At the head of a famous firm that he founded with his brother Jean-Michel, this tenor of the bar discovers with amazement that his late brother has bequeathed all of his shares to Pauline Lefranc (Mélanie Bernier), a young lawyer. who just gave him a hard time during a trial.

While his two children – convinced of inheriting from their uncle and becoming partners – take a dim view of the arrival of this young woman, Vincent Daron will make a discovery about Pauline which will upset the family balance… A delightful series carried by Didier Bourdon, who plays a hero in bad faith, but so endearing.

I really enjoyed playing a character that wasn’t very clean.

“My character is a mix between Eric Dupond-Moretti, for the truculent and passionate side, and Bernard Tapie, for the bad faith. I think Bernard Tapie must have schemed a little!”s’amuse Didier Bourdon. “But he’s a very likeable hero despite everything, because his misguided actions are justified. I really enjoyed playing a character who isn’t very clear-cut.”

Subscribed to comic roles, the ex-Inconnu was delighted to be offered a slightly different character. “And varied, because there are pure comedy situations, but also deeper things. And then the pleadings too, that’s no laughing matter!”he admits. This is also the first time that he plays a recurring character in a series. “I didn’t say yes straight away because I was waiting for the writing to develop. (…) I don’t want to lock myself into a role. It’s like with Les Inconnus, At one point, we felt like we were going in circles, but we’re still only in the first season!”.

When I act in this series, I think of my children.

Especially since he finds it very “pleasant” to play a lawyer. What image did he have of the profession before putting on the robe? “There are really all kinds of lawyers. There are some very brilliant ones, others less so. I’m not going to give a name, but I once met a lawyer who had been recommended to me by Claude Berri The first thing he asked me was if I had any money, things were off to a bad start!”

If Vincent Daron is one of the brilliant lawyers in front of the court, he loses all his means in front of his children. “It is often said that shoemakers have the worst shoes. While he always manages to get by in his work as a lawyer, Vincent Daron has difficulty telling his children the truth about Pauline. He is completely overwhelmed and he lies very badly”admits the actor, himself a father of three children.

Father of a boy named Olivier and now in his forties, he also has two teenage daughters with his long-time partner, Marie-Sandra, whom he married last year. “I have a young teenager who drives me crazy, but who is very nice. She turned 14 not long ago. And another who is 18. Gérard Darmon, with whom I filmed Old-fashionedsaid that in all roles, we give a part of ourselves. It’s true that when I play in this series, I think of my children”concedes the one who remains discreet about his family life.
