  • The entire team from the “Festival” series was present on stage last night

The preview of the pilot episode of the Chablais series “Festival” took place on Saturday in Monthey. The public responded, and co-directors Félicia Baillifard and Nils Martenet answered questions from spectators.

In Monthey, the Kremlin was filled with laughter and questions on Saturday evening during the preview of the pilot episode of the Chablais series “Festival”.

Félicia Baillifard and Nils Martenet, the co-directors, presented their creation for the first time to the spectators and answered their questions.

A special moment for Félicia Baillifard.

And if spectators are interested in this subject, it is because for the moment, the “Festival” series is only at the pilot episode stage. The makers are looking for funds to finance the next episodes. But not at any price, in any case this is Nils Martenet’s response on Saturday evening, to one of the people in the public.

For Nils Martenet, there is no question of stopping at the pilot episode.

A different look, three years after the episode was filmed

The series was imagined during the COVID-19 pandemic, but filming was carried out in 2021. Three years later, the directors’ view of their production has evolved, as Félicia Baillifard explains.

On Nils Martenet’s side, the impression of novelty is similar, but it is above all a feeling of recognition that emerges from this projection.

As a reminder, “Festival” is a series which aims to promote Chablais in its entirety to show its artistic potential. Please note that before this screening, this pilot episode was selected in 7 international film festivals.
