The festival Gospel en Bray grows from year to year. For his 15th editionfrom November 14 to December 1, 2024, its home port remains Gournay-en-Bray (Seine-Maritime). But the programming will resonate throughout the Pays de Bray (Forges-les-Eaux, Ferrières-en-Bray, Neuf-Marché) and even beyond to the greatest satisfaction of Évelyne Pèlerin, initiator and artistic director of this festival with Emmanuel Pi Djob.
Gospel, song of hope
The president of the association Hyphen and creator of the festival advocates for Gospel singing, “a song that is simple and powerful at the same time, accessible to all. Our society and our world chained in fear can find in this song hope, the strength to raise our heads.”

The Golden Gate Quartet returns for 90 years of career
After the success of the 2023 edition, the organizers are stepping up their game even further. The Golden Gate Quartetone of the greatest and most famous gospel performers has chosen to celebrate his 90th career with the Gospel en Bray festival.
The programming of this 15th edition of the gospel festival would not be what it is without the presence of the absolute virtuoso of the Hammond organ, Rhoda Scott.
She will be there again. This promises more beautiful moments of magic.
Emmanuel Pi Djob will also be there to distill all his energy with around forty professional or amateur singers. MontaudVocal will put on the show.
Also note the magnificent voices of Max Zitaet Augustin Dikongue for guaranteed moments of emotion.
Also at the party will be the students of the masterclass of Choir Gospel and Bray 2024.

• Thursday November 14: meeting at Ecrans de Gournay. The memory in the skin, film by Thierry Durand. In the morning: session with schools & general public session at 8 p.m.,
• Friday November 15: Le Havre, Traces of the slave trade, Anaïs Gernidos welcomes schoolchildren to the Workshop.
• Friday November 22: conference-debate on “Normandy and Reunion Island, the other slavery”, by Eric Saunier at L’Atelier, Salle Bernard Laurent, 44, avenue du général Leclerc, Gournay en Bray,
• Thursday November 28, at 8 p.m.: Opening concert with Montaudvocal at the Neuf-Marché church,
• Friday November 29, at 8 p.m.: The Golden Gate Quartet concert, 90 years old at the Espace de Forges,
• Saturday November 30, 3 p.m.: Rhoda Scott concert at the church of Ferrières-en-Bray,
• Saturday November 30, 8 p.m.: Max ZitaI and Gospel voices concert (first part, Chorale du Pays de Bray and the Gospel choir in Bray 2024) at the Aulnaie gymnasium in Gournay en Bray.
• Sunday, December 1: closing concert at 4:30 pm: Montaudvocal and Emmanuel Pi DjobJ (the Gospel choir in Bray 2024 in 1st part) at the gymnasium of the Aulnaie Gournay in Bray.
Conferences and films
The Gospel en Bray festival also includes conferences on slavery and meetings with children led by Anaïs Genidas. The one who describes herself as “transmitter and guardian of the memory of this collective history”, that of the exploitation of black people from Africa and their deportation to the West Indies and the Americas, will work on this theme with schools.
