It is at the Paul-Éluard complex that the Lumières Lions club has been organizing the third edition of the Saveurs du monde salon since this Friday, October 18. “The idea is to bring together artisans from different regions and countries to present their work and products. It’s a friendly show which aims to raise funds for Amista, the day center for patients with Alzheimer’s disease.“, explains Maguy Ghiotto-Nunes, commissioner of the show. The Armenian painter Arminé Manikian presents his paintings on wood, on fabrics and his small nativity scenes. In terms of flavors, it is an opportunity for the general public to taste and buy Italian, Greek, Corsican specialties, spices from Madagascar, honeys, cheeses, wines from all regions. Ciotaden chocolatier Morgan Fabre explains his art of working with chocolate.

And you have to stop by Diane Quilichini’s stand. A former oenologist, the Marseillaise created the Blackjewel company seven years ago. She specialized in caviar. “I work with caviar as I did with wineshe explains. I go to farms that raise sturgeon in Bulgaria, Poland but also in Spain, Italy, Uruguay and of course . I select eggs from more than 30 farms and provide instructions for preparing the products.

The business manager therefore offers a wide range of caviars, from the mildest to the most iodized depending on the origins. “I want to discover and democratize caviar,” she assures. “For 21 euros, you can already treat yourself to a small box that will awaken all the taste buds.” The salon is open until Sunday, October 20, 6 p.m. Visitors can eat on site and dancers from the Alegria de Triana group will liven up the afternoon with flamenco dancing!
